Flights to Greece

Greece is well served by most of the international carriers as well as numerous low cost airlines. The national airline is Olympic Airways (OA). As well as international flights they also provide a good domestic service (see the Greek regional pages for more information on internal flights).

The new Athens (ATH) airport is Eleftherios Venizelos and is located 33kms (20 miles) southeast of the city centre. It has excellent facilities including banks, car rental and a business centre.

Public transport to and from the airport is via metro, railway or express airport buses and connects travellers with the city centre as well as the port of Piraeus. Trains to Greece

There are several options to travel by train to Greece from other parts of Europe.

London to Paris with Eurostar and then Budapest (via Vienna) followed by the TransBalkan Express to Thessaloniki (Salonika) via Bucharest.
