The new Athens (ATH) airport is Eleftherios Venizelos and is located 33kms (20 miles) southeast of the city centre. It has excellent facilities including banks, car rental and a business centre.
Public transport to and from the airport is via metro, railway or express airport buses and connects travellers with the city centre as well as the port of Piraeus.
